Connecting to Stripe

AllTakes uses Stripe for payment processing. You’ll need to create and connect a Stripe account to receive payouts instantly when a client pays for your offer, as well as to manage refunds directly with your clients.

Step 1: On your business page, click “Connect Stripe.” You will be redirected to Stripe’s application form and will need to fill out the questions about your business.

  • If you already have a Stripe business, you may link that one.

Step 2: Fill out the form regarding your AllTakes business.

  • Type of business

    If your business is not formally incorporated, we suggest choosing the “Individual” option.

    If your business is formally incorporated, we suggest choosing the “Company” option.

  • Industry

Stripe offers various industry options to choose from. Please select the one that most closely aligns with the nature of your work.

  • Product Description

    Provide a brief, one-sentence description of the service your business offers.

Step 3: After filling out the form, your Stripe business will be created. You should see “Verification in Progress” as your Stripe account connects with your AllTakes business page. This may take a few minutes.

Step 4: After verification, you will see “Go to Stripe,” where you can be redirected to Stripe’s website. You may need to log in to see your payments history. This is where you will be able to see your payment history and refund your clients.

Finish setting up your Stripe account

There may be some additional steps to fully set up your Stripe account:

  • For first-time users of the site, Stripe will send a verification email. To ensure successful verification, click on the link provided in the email to confirm.

  • If you see “Verification in Progress” for more than a few minutes, it might be necessary to update your account information.  To do so, log in to and check for any outstanding actions that need to be completed, indicated by "Action Required" in the upper left corner. Stripe will guide you through the process of updating your account information.

Issuing Refunds

With Stripe, you can easily manage refunds directly with your clients.

Step 1: Log into

Step 2: Navigate to thePayments tab on your dashboard.

Step 3: Find the client you would like to issue a refund to with their associated email.

Step 4: To issue a refund, you can either hover over the client's payment and click the 'Refund Payment' arrow, or simply click on the payment and then click 'Refund' in the upper right corner.

Step 5: To remove a refunded member from your offering, go to the “Members” page of your studio.


Step 6: Find the refunded member, tap the 3 dots on their profile, and click “Remove from studio”. They will automatically be removed.
